The Muslim Brotherhood: The recent student movement reveals the double standards of U.S. policy

The Muslim Brotherhood asserts that the movement denouncing the terrorism of the Zionist entity has exposed the flaws of U.S. policy, which practices double standards and abandons democracy and freedom of opinion when it collides with Zionist interests. This was clearly demonstrated by the forceful response of the security forces to this peaceful movement, arresting a number of professors and more than 900 students, mistreating some, and expelling dozens of them.

The Muslim Brotherhood appreciates the increasing student movement in American and European universities and confirms that the demands of this movement, calling for the recognition of Palestinian rights, are legitimate demands believed in and defended by every free person in the world. This comes especially after the recent Zionist aggressions against the Palestinian people exposed the falseness of the narrative promoted by the Zionist media machinery, which has numbed the conscience of Western peoples for decades, during which the U.S. administration was under the influence of the Zionist lobby. The new generations have rejected this by declaring their solidarity with the Palestinian right to defend their land and determine their destiny.

After the recent Zionist crimes in Gaza, it has settled in the conscience of the free people of the world that there is an urgent need for a new international system that establishes justice and protects the rights of the oppressed. This requires all supporters of justice and human rights in the world to urgently mobilize to support it and to confront the falsification of the Zionist media machinery.
