Muslim Brotherhood Marks Start of New Islamic Hijri Year
Muslim Brotherhood Marks Start of New Islamic Hijri Year
Friday, September 22,2017 13:36
The Muslim Brotherhood congratulates the Muslim nation, especially the Egyptian people, as they mark the beginning of the new Hijri year, the 1439th since the noble Prophet Mohamed's migration from Mecca to Medina, which laid the foundation stone of the Islamic state, changed the face of the world, and helped humanity move from the chaos of paganism, the law of the jungle and the civilization of pleasure-seeking and enslavement to whims and desires, to the nobility of Islam, the law of justice and mercy, and the civilization of science and ethics.

We ask God Almighty to help the Muslim nation in this year to victory and empowerment, to close ranks and unite, and to crown its struggle for freedom and dignity with ultimate triumph. He is the Omni-Potent, Almighty God.
