Hamas Urges Escalation of Jerusalem Intifada in Response to Israeli Violations
Hamas Urges Escalation of Jerusalem Intifada in Response to Israeli Violations
Monday, July 17,2017 11:21

Hamas regards the Zionist occupation government's closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque and compound (Islam's third holiest site) and the ban on the call to prayers as well as the performance of prayers in this grand mosque as an unprecedented and very serious violation.

This crime is a continuation of the religious war against our people, our land and our holy sites, and an unprecedented aggression against the rights of Arabs and Muslims in Jerusalem and the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, in preparation for imposing a 'new reality' and dividing the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

We, the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas", hold the Zionist occupation government fully responsible for all repercussions following their violations and aggressions. We call upon the Palestinian people to escalate the blessed Jerusalem uprising (Quds Intifada) and to engage the enemy and the hordes of settlers, to defend the Aqsa Mosque and to thwart all the Zionist entity's plots, whatever the sacrifices.

We also call upon all the Arab and Muslim nation to march towards the Zionist entity's embassies everywhere, to support the Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem and Palestine, and to put pressure on this entity to stop its crimes and violations.

Fawzi Barhoum

Spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas"
