Hoda Abdel-Moneim, member of the legitimate National Council for Human Rights and the Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance's Rights Committee, said that a fact-finding committee headed by Dr. Fouad Riad issued a flawed fraudulent report, that only confirmed the validity of all independent rights experts' comments and complaints concerning the lack of independence in the Committee, and those who accused it of lacking essential neutrality and impartiality.

Hoda Abdel-Moneim asserts that the Committee failed miserably, and did not rise to the challenge of the current national crisis or the values of justice, "The Committee reassured those involved in crimes of genocide, rather than convince them of the futility of attempting to escape punishment". This, she added, will cast a dark shadow on the scene for closing this door to prompt and fair retribution.
