Mahmoud Abul-Enein, lawyer and member of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP)'s Legal Committee, presented to Cairo Court for Urgent Matters a formal objection to execution of the decision by the coup regime head to form a committee to dissolve the FJP and liquidate and seize its assets, following a judgment by the Department of Supreme Administrative Court's political parties affairs department.
Abul-Enein said in the objection: "Ibrahim Mehleb's decision contradicts Egyptian law," referring to the junta regime's prime minister.
