Students March for Freedom Despite Police State Repression
Protests erupted across Egypt’s universities and college campuses despite the crackdown by coupe regime police forces, and the arrests of dozens of students’ activists. The Muslim Brotherhood hailed the students' movement, and its struggle for freedom for all Egyptians
Saturday, October 11,2014 19:42

At least 46 students, including several females, have been arrested in Beni Suef, Sohag and Fayoum, including 35 students in Assiut, southern Egypt. All of those who have been arrested are suspected of being Anti-Coup

In another development, Dental Students at the British University in Egypt (BUE) announced their strike this morning after school administration expelled 15 of their colleagues for their political views, and without any investigation of wrongdoing.

The Muslim Brotherhood strongly condemn the vicious crackdown by coup regime forces against students across the country, and their right to free speech. We demand the immediate release of all those who have been arrested, and for the security apparatus to lift its grip of repression off Egypt’s campuses. We salute Egypt’s students, the young men and women who are leading the country’s revolution against repression and authoritarianism.
