Friday, August 8,2014 22:30
The Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance praises the initiative by a group of the finest Egyptian expatriates representing all colors of the political and ideological spectrum, who launched the "Egyptian Revolutionary Council" (ERC) to support the January 25 Revolution, fulfil its objectives and restore and protect its gains.

The Alliance wishes the ERC project every success, and looks forward to the new organization's achievements in this national mission abroad, and in furthering the clear democratic goals attached to its vision as announced Friday in its foundation statement.

The National Alliance encourages any honest effort by any free-thinking fair-minded Egyptian; and urges all to close ranks and rally for the Revolution in order to defeat the military junta who seeks to totally crush the January 25 Revolution and all its constitutional democratic gains.

The Alliance stresses the importance of institutionalizing the work of Egyptians abroad along with efforts to develop the revolutionary movement in Egypt, within the boundaries of the Egyptian Revolution's established principles. Those are the powerful wings of the Revolution that will carry it to victory for Egypt and its proud people at home and abroad.
