Muslim Brotherhood Leader Badie After Illegal Second Death Sentence: We Will Not Bow or Cower
While coup security forces work hard to lay trumped up charges against Egypt's most honorable citizens, junta justice endeavors to break every rule and trample every legal process to persecute or execute all opponents.

In an unprecedented departure from all laws, rules and legal due process, an Egyptian court issued a death sentence Thursday, for the second time referring the case of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood Chairman Mohamed Badie, and 13 other Brotherhood leaders, to the Grand Imam and Mufti of the Republic (Shawki Allam) to rubber-stamp their execution decision, after the Mufti rejected execution of Badie the first time round for "lack of evidence". Badie and the other leaders are falsely accused of inciting violence in a lawsuit known in the media as "Istiqama Mosque" incident.

Judicial sources said that "Giza Criminal Court will issue its final verdict in an August 30 session, in the Istiqama Mosque case related to clashes that occurred in Giza Square (west of Cairo) on July 22, 2013 – after receiving the opinion of the Mufti".

Coming out from the sound-proof glass dock in court, Badie and the other 13 Muslim Brotherhood leaders chanted: "Down with military rule", and Brotherhood Chairman Badie spoke briefly against the verdict saying: "This unjust ruling will not impact our steadfastness".
