President Mohamed Morsi has appointed 10 new governors as a first step within the provincial reshuffle announced by Presidential spokesman Yasser Ali a few days ago. The Egyptian President appointed Osama Kamal as Governor of Cairo, Dr. Yahya Abdel-Moneim Mukhaimar for Sohag governorate, Major General Mohamed Kamel for the Red Sea governorate, Sayed Abdel-Fattah Harhoor for North Sinai, Mohamed Esmat Husseini for Kafr El-Sheikh, and Mohamed Atta Abbas for Alexandria.
Furthermore, Dr. Mohamed Ali Bishr has been appointed governor of Menoufia, Major General Samir Badr Abdel-Ati Aglan for Suez, Mostafa Kamel Issa for Minya, and Dr. Yahya Kishk for the governorate of Assiut.
