Egyptian President Morsi Appoints 4 Assistants and 17 Advisers in His Presidential Team
Ikhwanweb publishes full names of Mohamed Morsi’s presidential team, which – in its first phase – includes a woman university professor and a Christian intellectual among 4 assistants, as well as 17 advisers, including more women and Christians, in addition to a number of other advisers to be announced later.

Egypt’s first freely-elected President Mohamed Morsi has appointed four presidential assistants and seventeen advisers.

First, Assistants to the President of the Republic:

1. Ms. Pakinam Hassan El-Sharkawi, assistant for Political Affairs.

2. Dr. Samir Morcos Abdel-Masseih, assistant for democratic transition.

3. Dr. Essam Al-Haddad, assistant for Foreign Relations and International Cooperation.

4. Dr. Imad Abdul-Ghafoor Abdul-Ghani, assistant for community outreach (civil society communication).


Second, the President’s Advisory Team – in its first phase:

1. Ahmed Mohamed Omran.

2. Ms. Omaima Kamel El-Salamoni.

3. Ayman Ahmed Ali.

4. Ayman Amin El-Sayyad.

5. Hassanein Al-Zarqa.

6. Hussein Kazaz.

7. Khaled Alameddine.

8. Rafiq Habib.

9. Ms. Sakina Fouad.

10. Seif Abdul-Fattah.

11. Essam El-Erian.

12. Imad Hassan Abdullah.

13. Amr Laithi.

14. Farouk Gweida.

15. Mohamed Selim El-Awa.

16. Mohamed Esmat Seif El-Dawla.

17. Mohei Hamid Mohamed.

Several national figures and technocrats are to join the advisory team at a later stage.
