Freedom and Justice Party: Tourism Will Surge as Stability is Established by President Morsi
Egypt’s long-hoped-for tourism boom has already started, with higher numbers of tourists and better resort and hotel occupancy, and the FJP’s tourism official promises even rosier seasons.
Friday, July 6,2012 19:42

Hazem Shawky, Rapporteur of the Tourism Committee of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), affirmed that the increase in rates of occupancy in hotels and tourist villages and resorts came after improved political stability in Egypt, following the victory of Dr. Morsi, President of the Republic, which left a very positive impact on the tourism industry.

Shawky pointed that such indicators are good news for the next tourist season, with Egypt expected to recover its position on the map of international tourism, especially with the stability sought by the President through improved security services and better visibility of the police in all tourist villages, resorts and areas.

"The wheel of production must keep spinning. There would be no life in tourism without hard work. I expect a good tourism boom during the coming season."
