Topics addressed included bilateral relations between Egypt and Sudan and methods to develop them further.
Regarding the Islamic identity, both parties agreed that the forming of civil states based on Islamic references was the only guarantee for the progress of the nations. Reference was given to the great efforts made by the Sudanese Almahdy Party in addition to the MB in Egypt, and the Islamic Zaytoona Institution in Tunis and the AlAzhar Institute in Egypt which fostered the Islamic values and references between nations.
All ascertained that it was significant to benefit from former regimes and to learn from their mistakes. Moderation is the key for success in governing a state, in addition to aiming and achieving complete progress which will accomplish the desires of the people in the region, they agreed.
