Muslim Brotherhood Nominates 6 Candidates for Journalists Syndicate
The Muslim Brotherhood is fielding six candidates for the upcoming elections in the Journalists Syndicate, but did not decide yet whether it will compete on the Chairman position.

The Muslim Brotherhood is fielding six candidates for the upcoming elections in the Journalists Syndicate, but did not decide yet whether it will compete for the Chairman position. The elections are scheduled for October 2011. 

The list of candidates includes Mohamed Abdel Kodous, the current Syndicate Council member and head of the Freedoms Committee; journalist Kotob Al Arabi, former editor in Al-Shaab Newspaper, in addition to younger members such as Khaled Barakat (Al-Ahram), Hani Al Mekkawi (Al-Ahrar), Hani Salah Eldin (Youm7.com), and Mohamed Mostafa (Akhbar Alyoum Newspaper).
