The heightened hostilities and vendetta against members of political opposition have been witnessed both world wide and domesticaly with appeals by the US administration to monitor elections and to promote democracy. However a recent article in The Economist suggests  that the Egyptian government intends to cut short the popular Muslim Brotherhood’s tally sharply.

With the onset of parliamentary elections scheduled for  Sunday November 28th, accusations of foul play have been many and the poll's eve has also witnessed unjust detentions, facebook pages blocked and and unjust court orders regarding the elections as the NDP shows its true intentions.
