The Egyptian security forces arrested on Friday two students on charge of belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood group in Alexandria: Mohamed Galal (a student in the Faculty of Arts ), and Youssef Ahmed (a student in the Faculty of Education), in the mosque of Al-Mo’mineen in the Wirdian neighborhood after Friday Prayer .
 
This raise to 23 the number of those detained yesterday for participating in demonstrations protesting at the Israeli violations against Al-Aqsa mosque. The 23 detainees include the top Muslim Brotherhood journalist and the head of the Press Syndicate’s freedoms committee, Mohamed Abdul Qoddous .
 
For his part, Dr. Hamdi Hassan, the spokesman of the Muslim Brotherhood’s parliamentarian bloc, told Ikhwanweb that "The security forces arrested the two students who appeared before the prosecution and it ordered releasing them .
 
However, Hassan pointed out, the two students haven’t been released yaet and the security may issue another arrest warrant against them.
 
Hassan confirmed that the Muslim Brotherhood MPs have lodged statements and written questions about the incidents of Friday in Al Azhar Al Sharif in which the the worshippers were denied access to mosque, were beaten and 21 individuals were arrested.
The Muslim Brotherhood in Alexandria staged a large demonstration in Mina Al-Basal constituency and it started from Ibn Sahlan mosque after Friday Prayer. The Muslim Brotherhood leaders, Dr. Hamdi Hassan and Hussein Mohamed Ibrahim, two MPs for the constituency, and more than a thousand residents of Mina Al-Basal participated in this demonstration to protest at the Zionist aggression against Al Aqsa Mosque .
 
The participants expressed their severe anger at the Arab governments passivity and inaction towards the Zionist hideous crime, and they demanded dismissing the Israeli ambassador from Cairo, and maintaining boycotting the Jewish and US products.
