The Islamic Action Front the Muslim Brotherhood's offshoot in Jordan has announced that a shura council meeting is scheduled for the upcoming week
Friday, March 26,2010 16:13

The agenda is expected to discuss the outcome of the recent party elections, which took place earlier

The meeting will announce the backing of the 24 sub-division representatives which were elected early March in addition to selecting the new party leader. Two names are expected to be suggested for possible candidates as leader where Salem Falahat appears to be a favourite; it is possible that he may fill the post

Sources from the group revealed that the two years were trying for the party with regards to differences of opinion referring to the party's engagement and affiliation with Palestine's Hamas Movement.  High hopes that differences will end with the announcement of a united leadership
