IOF troops wound citizens in Nablus district
Villagers attacked by settlers who are backed by the IOF
Sunday, March 14,2010 19:45

A number of citizens in Irak Burin village, Nablus district, were wounded on Saturday evening when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) intervened to protect Jewish settlers who attacked the village.

Local sources said that the citizens, who confronted the daily attacks by the settlers, sustained various injuries.

The settlers have been targeting the village over the past few months, the sources said, noting that the incidents started with the settlers' attempt to control the village's sole water well as a prelude to seize the village's land.
