The group stresses that the very idea that the Egyptian Olympy team will play in occupied Jerusalem indicates that they acknowledge and condone the Israelis right in the occupied lands and this is unacceptable even if they are playing a friendly match with the Palestinians.

The campaign titled "No to Egypt's match in occupied Jerusalem" calls for the match to be played in Gaza or in Cairo where the Israeli entity has no control. The group reminded the public that the Palestinian cause must not be forgotten and that the Israeli entity must understand that they have no right to occupy lands which do not belong to them let alone issue visas to land that is not theirs; regardless of the fact whether it was for a peace talk meeting or a friendly match it is not their land.
