Egypt: Ezzat and colleague face prosecutors
Egypt: Ezzat and colleague face prosecutors
Prosecutors charge MB leaders with same host of accusations which members have become accustomed to.
Sunday, February 21,2010 12:23

State security continued investigations with Dr Mahmoud Ezzat, Deputy Chairman of the MB and his 15 senior colleague leaders from governorates and the Executive Bureau who were arrested earlier this month in a security clampdown
Once again the detainees abstained from making any statements to the prosecution on the grounds that all accusations were meaningless and false and they had nothing new to add
Top MB defense lawyer Abdul Monem Abdul Maqsoud underscored that the political conflict between the regime and the Muslim Brotherhood's place should be through ballot boxes in free, fair, and transparent elections and not through illegal court channels. All the MB want is for the public to decide how to live and for who to rule them
