State prosecutors renewed the detention of Dr Abdul Monem Abul Fotouh member of the Muslim Brotherhood executive bureau and Secretary General of Arab Doctors Union a further 15 days pending investigation.

State prosecutors renewed the detention of Dr Abdul Monem Abul Fotouh member of the Muslim Brotherhood executive bureau and Secretary General of Arab Doctors Union a further 15 days pending investigation. Other leaders of the movement were also included in the detentions, they include:

Dr Gamal Abdul Salam

Ali Alhadeedy

Ahmed Ali Abbas

Reda Fahmy

Abdul Rahman Algamal

Eng Khaled Alsayed Albeltagy

Case number 404 of 2009 renown in the media as "The global network of the Muslim Brotherhood" includes 21 members of the movement's leaders so far.

 Namely:

Dr Ashraf Abdul Ghafar

Dr Ossama Nasr

Dr Mohamed Taha Wahdan

Adel Abdul Rahman Affify

 Despite receiving numerous release orders the detainees still remain behind bars.
