The Hamas Movement said it submitted Wednesday morning its response to the Egyptian draft regarding the Palestinian reconciliation through its delegation which left for Cairo headed by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahhar, a senior Hamas leader.

Hamas spokesman Ayman Taha said that his Movement is awaiting the Egyptian reply to the queries and observations, pointing out that the Movement is not the only faction that has remarks about the Egyptian draft, but also all Palestinian factions have their own reservations.

Taha underlined that the reservations and remarks voiced by Hamas do not mean that it does not want dialog, but it wants the dialog to stand on sound and stable ground in order to ensure its success.

Regarding the statement of Yasser Abdrabbo, the secretary-general of the PLO executive committee, which says that "any party rejecting the PLO platform would not be allowed to fight elections", the spokesman opined that Abdrabbo and his ilk are loyal to the American administration and do not like dialog, so Hamas does not give attention to his statements.
