Al-Mansoura Misdemeanor court has decided Wednesday to release five members of the Muslim Brotherhood whose release decision was appealed by the prosecution.

The number of released brothers now reached ten MBs from Al-Mansoura. They were arrested in early August in the run up to the local elections.

They were abducted in August 28, 2008 and referred to the prosecution on the same day when they were charged with joining an outlawed group. The prosecution ordered them imprisoned for 15 days.

They were referred to the prosecution again after this period but the prosecution renewed their detention for another 15 days.

Brotherhood defense appealed the imprisonment decision. The appeal was scheduled to be examined last Wednesday before Appeals Misdemeanor Court of Al-Mansoura where the other five were ordered released.

The released brothers are Mohamed Talaat, Ahmad Abul-Oyoon, Ihab Abul-Khair, Fouad Jumua, and Sayed Abdurrazeq.

In the same regard, Mansoura state security forces have arrested other four brothers on charges of belonging to a banned group. These are Shahhat Abdul-Monem, Saleh Sadeq, Saeed Al-Qasabi, and Farouq Sharaf.
