Al-Zahar: Hamas Won 5-Day War, Will Release Shalit if Conditions Met

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahar, a top leader in the Palestinian Hamas movement, confirmed that the Palestinian resistance achieved a big victory in its war with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the "black five-day war". He congratulated the Palestinians and relatives of those who were martyred while defending the Gaza during these days.
 
Al-Zahar delivered these remarks while he was taking part in a huge rally staged in Gaza City on Monday, March 3rd, to support the Palestinian resistance whose courageous actions during these days helped in defending the Palestinian territories. "May Allah rest their souls in eternal peace and shower mercy on them, after they achieved this great victory on Barak and Olmert in the black five-day battle", Al-Zahar said.
 
The top Hamas leader thanked also other countries" peoples who demonstrated and declared their support to the Palestinian people and refused the aggression on Gaza Strip. He thanked also news agencies and TV channels that aired to the world the suffering of the Palestinian people.
 
Al-Zahar stressed in his speech that he gave in front of thousands in this rally that" Gilad Shalit will be released only when our conditions are met. We do not differentiate between Palestinian factions. If you want to end this file, release all prisoners without any precondition".
 
It is worth mentioning that two of Mahmoud Al-Zahar"s sons were martyred in previous raids carried by Israeli occupation forces. His elder son was martyred while resisting Israeli occupation army while his younger son was martyred after the occupation forces targeted him.
